He participated in a major South Australian art exhibition in 2015, presenting new ways to transform the iconic SA Balfour's Frog Cake as a state icon. His entry raised funds for an Australian mental health foundation in SA

Ben's 2016 exhibition was the SALA festival, where he exhibited new photographic works from the

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

What started as a journey into my vision and experiences of the Kokoda Trail resulted in a tribute to the Australian soldiers who fought in 1942.

Ever since I returned from Papua New Guinea, following my achievement in trekking the war-beaten trail... I have felt very connected to the war that occurred between the untrained Australians and the powerful Japanese troops.

I found a strong passion in the artistic approach of acknowledging the young men who sacrificed their lives for our overall safety of ours.
